Driven by a belief that veterans are better off for their service, Chris has been a pioneer in connecting the military community to civilian employment, entrepreneurship, and educational opportunities since the late 90s. Under Chris’ leadership as CEO of Viqtory, the nation’s leading military marketing firm, Viqtory owns and operates the Military Friendly® Membership program, G.I. Jobs®, Military Spouse® and Vetrepreneur® magazines, Vetrepreneur® Franchise Academy, the National Veteran Owned Business Association®, the Buy Veteran® movement and the Vetrepreneur® and Veteran of the Year® programs.
Chris served nearly nine years on active duty as a Naval Flight Officer, worked in venture capital, as a sales executive for Procter & Gamble, and co-founded two companies prior to co-founding Viqtory in 2001. He currently serves on the USO Advisory Council and several Senate and House service academy selection committees. Previously, he was a member of the Military Affairs Council of Western Pennsylvania, the Pennsylvania Governor’s Advisory Council on Small Business and has taught entrepreneurship classes to veterans through Robert Morris University. Chris holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the United States Naval Academy and an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University.

For over a decade, she has assisted thousands of employers and colleges in developing their military recruitment programs through Military Friendly®. Under her leadership as Vice President of the Military Friendly® Membership program, Kayla has used the extensive proprietary data from Military Friendly® to create benchmarking reports and a full curriculum of corporate training to create and develop a military recruiting program within a company. Kayla recently finished a four-year term as a Member of the United States Department of Labor’s Advisory Committee on Veterans Employment, Training and Employer Outreach (ACVETEO), the last two as Chair. She is the first woman to Chair ACVETEO.
