Kaylyn Gomez is an Army Aviation Officer, commercial helicopter pilot, and operations leader with more than eight years of experience leading personnel, managing complex operations, and driving mission success in military and civilian environments. A first-generation college graduate and the first member of her family to serve in the military, she currently serves in the Oklahoma Army National Guard, where she leads teams, oversees operational planning, risk management, and resource coordination in support of aviation missions.
Kaylyn is the founder of SkyDeen Connections, a Veteran-, woman-, and minority-owned staffing firm dedicated to helping Veterans and transitioning service members secure meaningful employment opportunities in aviation, aerospace, defense, and other industries. She also serves as Vice President of Awards for the Thunderbird Chapter of the Army Aviation Association of America (AAAA), where she supports professional development, recognition programs, mentorship, and advocacy within the Army aviation community.
Her military awards include the Armed Forces Service Medal and the National Defense Service Medal. She holds a B.A. in Criminal Justice and FAA Commercial Rotorcraft-Helicopter and Instrument ratings and is passionate about leadership, service, and creating opportunities for others to succeed.
