Todd Carpenter is a true hero and leader in the veteran community. He not only started Special Forces Chapter 363 from scratch, but also served as its first president, leading the organization through impactful projects such as a complete home makeover for an Air Force Veteran with stage four multiple sclerosis. His dedication to teaching Special Forces history and Global War on Terror topics at Clemson University showcases his commitment to education and service.
As a founding member of Vets Helping Vets Greenville, Todd has been instrumental in providing essential services to veterans in Greenville County, including building wheelchair ramps, completing home repairs, and offering transportation to medical appointments. His expansion efforts into Spartanburg County demonstrate his passion for helping veterans in need. That group is now in its infancy but is addressing veteran needs and providing yard clean up, and assisting with tree cutting from Hurricane Helene. Todd is now the secretary of the organization, and along with group’s president, is helping to build a network of volunteers, partners, and other organizations that seek to provide aid and assistance to veterans.
In addition to his work with Vets Helping Vets, Todd serves as the chief facilitator of the Friday morning coffee group at Upstate Warrior Solution, providing crucial support to veterans and supporters dealing with post-traumatic stress disorder. Todd Carpenter is a true inspiration and a shining example of selfless service and dedication to the veteran community.
