The Los Angeles Film School

The Los Angeles Film School is an entertainment college located Hollywood. Our school is accredited by ACCSC and BPPE, and offers students the opportunity to work with seasoned professionals. Our industry-standard gear and special guests enrich the learning experience. We offer degrees in Film, Entertainment Business, Music Production, Audio Production and Animation. We offer online degrees Entertainment Business, Graphic Design, Music Production and Digital Filmmaking. Our grads have worked on titles including ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens,” “Guardians of the Galaxy,” and “The Martian,” and we are proud to host an Annual Oscar-Nominated Screenwriters Panel.

Why you should attend?

The Los Angeles Film School is an excellent institution for military vets as they transition out of the military. A career in the industry requires skills that veterans embody, such as collaboration, problem solving, attention to detail and a drive to succeed. Our Military Services Department solely assists veterans over the course of their educational careers by providing them with resources and tools to help them succeed. Furthermore, The Los Angeles Film School is a member of the Servicemembers Opportunity College Consortium, and is VA-Approved by CSAAVE. Our programs make the Los Angeles Film School a prime choice for vets.

A program that focuses on the theories, methods, and techniques used to plan, produce, and distribute audio and video programs and messages, and that prepares individuals to function as staff, producers, directors, and managers of radio and television shows and media organizations. Includes instruction in media aesthetics; planning, scheduling, and production; writing and editing; performing and directing; personnel and facilities management; marketing and distribution; media regulations, law, and policy; and principles of broadcast technology.
