San Diego City College is a public, two-year community college administered by the San Diego Community College District. The college offers more than 100 majors, 100 certificate programs and 1,500 classes each semester. The mission of City College has as its highest priority student learning and achievement. San Diego City College is a multicultural institution committed to providing open access to all who can benefit from instruction and to meeting the diverse and ever changing educational, cultural, and economic needs of the urban core and proudly serves the surrounding military communities of San Diego.

San Diego City College has long provided technical training and education to the military, beginning with ground classes for the Army Air Corps in 1939. We offer educational opportunities and benefits to service members through traditional and distance learning methods. Our website is available 24/7/365 and dedicated Veterans counselor can be contacted by email and telephone. We have partnership agreements with 63 California universities and eight other national universities that may lead to Bachelor's and/or Master's degrees. We give college credit for your military rating/MOS specific, job-oriented training and are a member of the Navy College Program's Distance Learning Partnership.
