Palm Beach State College

PBSC has embarked on a new era of assisting veterans, military service members and their families. With three campus veterans centers, dedicated advisors, multiple VA work-study opportunities, and various amenities and resources, PBSC fully serves those who have served us. Services include tutoring, mentoring, academic and career advising, financial aid assistance, benefits counseling and disability services. In 2018, Palm Beach State opened a comprehensive 2,300-square-foot facility on its Lake Worth campus. Called the Veterans Success Center, it features a lounge for social and recreational activities, computer lab, study areas, conference room and offices for a full-time staff. PBSC also supports three SVA chapters and sponsors many events and programs enjoyed by our growing student veterans community.

Why you should attend?

The College just launched its brand new Veteran Success Center. We offer academic counseling, financial aid assistance, GI BILL benefits processing and counseling, tutoring, computer and other support services for veterans. This new center includes six offices, a veterans lounge, conference room, and community resource office. As one of the top colleges for veterans, military service members and their families, PBSC prepares students for in-demand careers by offering associate degrees, bachelor's degrees and certificates that encompass over 130 programs of study. Students enroll at campuses in Lake Worth, Boca Raton and Palm Beach Gardens—all with dedicated veterans centers
