Palm Beach State College

PBSC shows it’s commitment to serving service members, veterans and their families with three veteran success centers across it’s three major campuses and most recently (August 2020) being awarded the student support services (SSS) veterans TRiO grant by the US Department of Education. The centers, its staff and the SSS Veterans TRiO grant illustrate how PBSC’s mission, vision and values align with the county’s military and veteran population needs. Services include tutoring, mentoring, academic and career advising, VA/financial aid assistance, counseling and disability services. The 2,300-square-foot veteran success center features a lounge, computer lab, study areas, conference room and offices. PBSC also supports three SVA chapters and sponsors many events and programs enjoyed by our growing student veteran community.

Why you should attend?

PBSC has a new Veteran Success Center and Student Support Services (SSS) veterans TRiO program grant. We offer academic counseling, financial aid assistance, GI BILL benefits processing and counseling, tutoring, computer labs and other services for veterans. This new center includes six offices, a veteran lounge, conference room, and community resource office. As one of the top colleges for veterans, military service members and their families, PBSC prepares students for in-demand careers by offering associate degrees, bachelor's degrees and certificates that encompass over 130 programs of study. Students may attend 5 campus across the county three with dedicated veteran centers
