MSU-Northern serves a broad student population through three distinct colleges. The College of Technical Sciences includes our nationally recognized diesel program, and is also home to regional-leading apprenticeship programs. The College of Education, Arts and Sciences includes vibrant elementary and secondary education programs, as well as a rigorous Biology degree that prepares students to continue on to graduate degrees, including veterinary, pharmacy or medical school. The College of Health Sciences includes a versatile Health Promotions program and our fully accredited nursing program, which provides health professionals with both ASN and BSN options.

Montana State University Northern excels as a veteran friendly University by providing resources, financial aid, an in-depth Prior Learning Assessment (PLA) and instruction necessary for today's veterans to successfully access and complete college. The Office of Veteran Services ensures that recipients understand their rights and responsibilities under Department of Veteran Affairs regulations and provides information and referral services to all veterans of the U.S. military, Active Duty military and members of the Selected Reserve. Our uniquely small class sizes and hands on approach fit well with the veteran community.
