Madisonville Community College

Madisonville Community College (MCC), located in rural Madisonville, KY, is one of 16 two-year open-admissions colleges of the Kentucky Community and Technical College System. MCC offers 28 associate degree programs and multiple embedded technical certificates. MCC serves six counties with an overall population of approximately 125,000. Historically, the coal industry has dominated the local economy. Increasingly, the economy is turning to light manufacturing and healthcare. The majority of high-wage, high demand jobs are available in healthcare. In September 2015 MCC opened a high-fidelity, state-of-the-art hospital simulation learning lab to enhance training of its nursing and allied health students.

Why you should attend?

Madisonville Community College (MCC) works closely with veteran students to make sure they receive all benefits they are entitled to receive for their military service. Most academic programs at MCC are approved by the VA. MCC offers a variety of technical programs, certifications, and degrees. MCC also offers two-year Associate Degrees if the student wishes to continue at a university. MCC is SACS accredited, and options exist for both in-person and online classes. With small class sizes, instructors are easily accessible. MCC also offers many support services on campus and online.
