Why you should attend?

Central Carolina Community College provides significant support for military service members and veterans. Faculty and students can identify as military/veterans on their ID cards. There is a Blackboard organization available which provides information about internal and external events and resources to support military/veteran students. Peer mentoring opportunities are available throughout the year, and there is a dedicated lounge area on campus for military-affiliated students. Faculty/Staff receive training on how to best support military/veteran students. Select staff can put in referrals to a network of care specializing in military members for needs beyond the academic scope.
