Why you should attend?

The Veteran Education Transition Program at CDA offers Veterans a waiver of application fees and waiver of 5% of the tuition to assist with the total cost of attendence. Veterans attend an initial "Veteran Orientation Meeting." CDA offers a veteran mentor program, monthly veteran meetings, contacts and support for counseling services, and transportation for V.A. appointments. CDA provides speakers and contacts for local and state-wide agencies to assist Veterans with education, finance, medical, and family issues. Partnerships with the local VET Center, the 5-Star Vet Center & the City of Jacksonville Military Affairs & Veterans Department have assisted Veterans. The Veterans Group attends local sporting events and they are provided resources for activities beyond the CDA campus: gym membership, camping, bicycling, and scenic National Parks.

A program that prepares individuals to supervise, manage, and inspect construction sites, buildings, and associated facilities. Includes instruction in site safety, personnel supervision, labor relations, diversity training, construction documentation, scheduling, resource and cost control, bid strategies, rework prevention, construction insurance and bonding, accident management and investigation, applicable law and regulations, and communication skills.
