Why you should attend?

The campus is in close proximity to many military installations to include Maxwell Gunter Air Force Base, Alabama's oldest base and largest by population. Auburn University at Montgomery has a staffed Veteran and Military Resource Center, and its Veteran Services Offices assists veterans, reservists, National Guardsmen and dependents of disabled or deceased veterans. AUM makes education affordable through its Military and Dependent Scholarship, Guaranteed Reserve Forces Duty Scholarship, Green to Gold Scholarship and ROTC Campus-Based Scholarship programs. It also offers the AUM Guard Card, a first-of its kind initiative in Alabama that offers Alabama National Guard member students $1,000 per academic year for books, supplies and campus meals.
