Why you should attend?
Home to one of the largest and longest serving ROTC cadres in the region, Arkansas State supports military students both through college into service and after service returning to college. An A-State scholarship program which reduces tuition for any active duty service member or their spouse to the federal reimbursement rate was established in 2019. A-State is the first Purple Heart University in Arkansas, and earned multiple "military friendly" accolades. For ROTC, A-State has a separate Living-Learning Community and supports the largest on-campus training facility in the state. The Beck Center for Veterans provides direct support to veterans as well as other assistance such as access to specialized therapies to assist in their transition to civilian life.
