Walter Lescano is a U.S. Navy Veteran and the Veterans Services Coordinator for the City of North Las Vegas. He designed, implemented, and currently manages the City’s inaugural Veterans Services Division and led the opening of the Veterans & Community Resource Center, the first municipally operated center of its kind dedicated to serving Veterans and community members.
Throughout his career, Walter has been committed to connecting Veterans, military families, and underserved populations with critical resources, benefits, and opportunities that improve quality of life and promote self-sufficiency. His leadership is rooted in collaboration, community engagement, and a passion for service.
Walter’s professional accomplishments have earned him recognition throughout his career, including nominations for Sailor of the Month during his military service, Director of the Year at Goodwill of Southern Nevada, and Manager of the Year at U.S.VETS. He continues to advocate for Veterans and strengthen communities through innovative programs and partnerships.
