Peter Mahmood

Peter Mahmood is a retired Army Officer with twenty-four years of service. Peter is currently the Military Relations Manager, responsible for the oversight of Military partnerships and recruiting. Peter leads recruiting at 25 Military bases, and many Veteran organizations, to support Cox’s strategy of recruiting military members. Prior to joining Cox, Peter led three JROTC programs in Broward County, Florida, over his ten years following Military service.

Peter has coached and mentored hundreds of our future leaders. Peter’s assignments include Company Executive Officer, Fort Hood, TX. Brigade Air Defense Officer, Fort Carson, CO. Company Commander, Colorado Springs Recruiting, and Fires Officer, Fort Bliss, TX. Peter served three combat deployments in Iraq.

Peter holds a Certificate in Leadership from Harvard Business School, a Bachelor’s in Human Resources from Saint Leo University, a Master’s in Health Administration from Webster University, and a Master’s in Leadership from the University of Texas El Paso.
