Engagement shouldn’t stop at the campus gates. It needs to be highly visible to everyone. Top schools integrate military traditions into the wider campus culture:
- Challenge Coin Ceremonies: Hosting dedicated ceremonies for graduating military-connected students, recognizing their dual achievements of service and education.
- Honor Guards: Having a student-led military color guard present the colors at major sporting events and commencement.
When a prospective student visits your campus and sees military service actively celebrated instead of just hidden away in a resource center, it makes a meaningful impact.
