Bill began his sales career in 1970 after serving in the U.S. Army in Vietnam. In 1983, he founded NATIONAL MARKETSHARE GROUP Inc., a consumer products Sales & Marketing Firm, with a focus on “Exceeding Customer and Principal Expectations.” Bill built a team committed to family, hard work, the right attitude, giving back, and having fun. With offices in Cincinnati, Ohio and Portland, Oregon, the company serves Principals nationwide. Bill currently serves as Chairman of the Board.
Bill’s deep community commitment is reflected in decades of service. He was active with the Boy Scouts of America, serving on the National Jamboree Committee in 1997, 2001, 2005, and 2010, and on the Council Board of Directors for 21 years. He received the Council Scouter of the Month Award multiple times and earned the Silver Beaver Award, scouting’s highest honor for volunteers.
In Greater Cincinnati, Bill served on the Board of Price Hill Will, the Lower Price Hill Community Council, and chaired several initiatives at Oyler School, including its Renovation Design Team and Green Initiatives Committee. He served on the Board of the City of Cincinnati Citizens Complaint Authority, chaired the Quality of Life in Neighborhoods Committee, and participated in the Cincinnati Police Chief’s Advisory Committee.
Bill currently serves on the Board of Cincinnati Golden Gloves as Governance Chair, is a Commissioner for Great Parks of Hamilton County (since 2016), and a Commissioner for the Hamilton County Veterans Service Commission, supporting over 47,000 veterans. As Founder of the Adopt A Class Foundation, he continues to serve on its Board and also leads the Adopt A Class Endowment Fund as President.
