Rob Barlow

Rob Barlow has made a significant positive impact on his community through his extensive work in canine training, law enforcement, and community service. As the owner of B-Hyve K9, he offers a range of services including dog training, daycare, boarding, and grooming to the Salt Lake County community. By providing options such as group classes, private sessions, and board & train programs, Rob helps dog owners ensure their pets receive expert training, fostering responsible pet ownership and enhancing the bond between dogs and their families. Rob’s passion for dog training began in childhood and developed significantly when he joined a Schutzhund Club. After his deployment with the Utah National Guard, where he worked with military K9s, he returned home and established a K9 sports club in Texas, guiding numerous dog owners to achieve titles in Protection Sports Association (PSA) competitions. As the President, Training Director, and Director of Decoys for the Salt City Hellhounds PSA Club, he has empowered many handlers and dogs to excel in various competitive environments. In addition to his dog training initiatives, Rob has served in law enforcement since 2008, playing a crucial role in community safety. His work as a K9 Handler with the Draper Police Department has enhanced local law enforcement operations, particularly in narcotics detection and patrol work. Rob also contributes to the community by sharing his knowledge and expertise in dog training and law enforcement, hosting training sessions that elevate standards in canine training and helping other officers enhance their skills. His multifaceted contributions have significantly enriched the Salt Lake County community, fostering a culture of responsible pet ownership and improving community safety through effective law enforcement practices.
