Brian Heffernan

Command Sergeant Major (R) Brian is passionate about hiring and supporting veterans and has the multidecadal career and accolades to back it up. At Amentum, he has developed, curated and implemented programs and relationships to hire and retain veterans that have earned us top recognitions in the military-friendly industry (2025 #1 Military Friendly Employer VIQTORY, 2025 Top Veteran Employer Military.com, 2024 Champions of Veteran Small Business Award NVSBC, 2024 US Veterans Magazine Top Veteran Friendly Companies, 2024 VETS Indexes 5 Star Employer, 2022 Disabled American Veterans Patriot Employer). The programs Brian has implemented and managed include the Amentum Corporate Military Recruiting Program that partners with multiple universities and DOD TAPS offices, the DOD SkillBridge Program, and other military intern and department transfer programs.
