Janice Brown Sneed

Janice Brown Sneed’s impact on her community is nothing short of transformational. Through her business, Community Solutions and Services, LLC, she has empowered dozens of nonprofits and community organizations with strategic tools to grow, fund, and sustain their missions. In her first year of operation, she donated hundreds of hours to causes she profoundly believes in—like domestic violence awareness, minority health equity, youth development, and workforce access. As a veteran, her leadership is methodical and mission-driven; as a community advocate, it’s filled with compassion. Janice is a key force behind innovative community hubs like the Milam Street Kitchen Incubator and the Center for Business and Community Development, which she spearheaded while at Southern University. She’s trained over 1,000 workers, helped nonprofits obtain and sustain funding, and brought strategic vision to organizations that could not grow. Her life’s work has helped women, returning citizens, low-income families, and aspiring entrepreneurs break cycles of poverty and pursue opportunity. In every room she enters, she builds bridges, creates space for others, and uplifts those who’ve been overlooked.
