NMC makes an extended effort to meet the unique needs of military members and their families. Priority admission and registration is available. A full-time military ombudsman has been designated to assist military-related students with their needs. CAC card/ID readers are available for student use. We have a Student Veteran of America Chapter and a Military Friendly Organization. Faculty/staff are trained to deal with issues such as PTSD as well as the need for class and exam make-ups for military-related activities. Some of our programs can be completed online if deployed, or students may re-enroll in their program upon their return.
