Suffolk has a proven history of welcoming veterans and well-established programs to support their success. Since joining the Yellow Ribbon Program in 2009, we’ve become one of the most generous participating schools in Boston, offering up to $25,000/year in tuition assistance. We also waive our application fee for active service members, and provide customized orientation/mentoring for undergraduate student-veterans. Our Green Zone Training program educates faculty/staff on the challenges of transitioning from military service to college life. And we’re the only university in Massachusetts to offer Veterans Upward Bound, the federal precollege program that prepares vets for success in higher education.
