Why you should attend?

Coastal takes great pride in its partnership with the local military community. During the 2022-2023 academic year, 1,093 military and veteran students enrolled in curriculum programs with 129 graduating in the spring commencement. Coastal recognizes the unique nature of the military lifestyle and is committed to easing the transfer of relevant course credits, awarding credit for verified military training and experiences, and providing workforce development opportunities for transitioning military. In-state tuition rates are available for active-duty military while stationed in North Carolina. Veterans may also qualify for in-state tuition through the Choice Act.
