Central Georgia Technical College

Central Georgia Technical College is a two-year public commuter college serving a diverse student body by offering traditional on-site and distance education academic programs. The College is accredited by the SACSCOC. The College provides education, extra-curricular, co-curricular, and work force development programs and services that support the economic development of the citizens within its service delivery area. CGTC employs knowledgeable competent faculty, up–to date facilities, advanced technology, and industry-specific equipment to ensure an environment that is conducive to learning. CGTC has a dedicated veteran’s facility, the Georgia Veterans Education Career Transition Resource (VECTR) Center, which provides career counseling, educational coaching, and workforce training.

Why you should attend?

The Georgia Veterans Education Career Transition Resource (VECTR) Center at CGTC ensures quality academic and student support services are provided to military-affiliated students to assist them in achieving academic success and workforce readiness. The Center coordinates a plan with the student and Academic Success Center for additional academic assistance needed. Through a federal grant, veterans can earn a commercial truck driver's license at no cost. Through state and local workforce funding, military and veteran students can attend programs in high demand career fields, to include cyber certifications at no cost. The VECTR Center also hosts the Veterans Business Outreach Center, providing entrepreneurial training.
