The branches of the military ingrain several core values into service members including honor, sel ess service, integrity, dedication, and the pursuit of excellence. Samaritan embodies a number of these same values: respect, integrity, dedication, and excellence. When an organization is built upon the same values that drove veterans to volunteer to be part of something bigger, the divide between civilian and veteran quickly diminishes. It's the pursuit of excellence, a common goal, that allows veterans to thrive where they would otherwise feel out of place. It's a place where veterans, their service, and experiences are not only acknowledged, but valued.
