Why you should attend?

Wor-Wic values our nation's veterans, active-duty military, reservists, and National Guard members. Wor-Wic is regionally recognized as a military friendly institution and training facility. The college welcomes and embraces all veterans, servicemembers, and their family members. Wor-Wic's student veteran and military population is very visible on campus and actively engaged in multiple student activities throughout the year. Wor-Wic is one of just 60 colleges in the nation to have a U.S. Department of Education TRIO Veterans Upward Bound (VUB) program on campus. The VUB houses a large resource center on campus where full-time staff are available to assist veterans with VA education benefits, academic advising, and a host of holistic services. The college offers a "one-stop-shop" wherein veteran, military, and military-connected students have a single point of contact for all of their needs at the school. The Director of Veterans Services assists these students with enrollment and registration, navigating financial aid and scholarships, and academic advising among other services. A spacious and well-furnished veteran and military lounge is available on campus and priority registration is available for the aforementioned students. Wor-Wic has an active student Veteran Military Association and chapter of the SALUTE National Honor Society.
