Why you should attend?

The University of Georgia claims a rich tradition of supporting our military servicemembers, veterans, and their families dating back to before the signing of the U.S. Constitution. The ratification of state legislation for veterans’ education in 1866, solidified our commitment to the very best care for those with military service. Our Student Veterans Resource Center carries on the same tradition with the help of more than 200 faculty, staff, and community partners plus a $3.4 million endowment for veteran scholarships. Most importantly, we stand beside each veteran from transition into the university through career readiness and beyond.
