Located in the beautiful historic city of Thomasville, Georgia, Thomas University is a regionally accredited, non-profit university whose mission is to provide an educational experience that explores and develops each student’s full potential. Situated on 75 acres just about 30 miles north of Tallahassee, Florida, TU offers associate, bachelor’s, master’s and education specialist degrees at our main campus, online and at satellite locations in Tallahassee and across Georgia. Our student body includes traditional students, professionals returning to college, members of the military, and citizens from around the globe. TU students participate in a wide variety of activities, including 12 varsity and junior varsity athletic teams, music, theatre, ENACTUS, Rotaract and more. Thomas University offers customized training and certification preparation classes in a variety of areas including contracting, cyber security and project management. TU’s Center for Military Life supports military personnel and their families’ service throughout the military from pre-enlistment to veteran status. TU is a proud partner with the Community College of the Air Force offering seamless transfer of CCAF associate degrees to TU bachelor’s degree programs. TU is also an approved General Education Mobile (GEM) provider for Air Force personnel. Thomas University is an active participant in the voluntary education programs for all branches, providing access to quality education. The Veterans Services and Career Transition Center is available to all veterans and active duty personnel on campus and in the surrounding area.

Thomas University provides support and services for veterans, prospective and current service members, Department of Defense employees and their dependents. Our goal is to provide resources during the entire life cycle of military service: from pre-enlistment, career advancement to transition support back to civilian life. As a part of Center for Military Life, the Armed Services Institute is a nonpartisan research and advocacy entity with a mission to promote positive change in the lives of Department of Defense and related employees. Our analytical team consists of leading experts in matters related to the best policies, practices, and products that are critical to both the safety and security of our nation. Through research, analysis, and programs we provide both fresh insights and training for the defense community, decision makers, and general public. CMil hosts periodic events open to the public on a wide-range of topics associated with military and veteran services. CMil is a division of Thomas University. TU is a private, non-profit, regionally accredited institution located in Thomasville, Georgia. TU offers a wide range of majors online and on-campus in some of today’s hottest career fields. Thomas University is a participant in DoD voluntary education programs, a Tier 1 AU-ABC partner with the Community College of the Air Force (CCAF). Our on-demand training is specifically designed for busy, working professionals who wish to build skills to advance their careers. Training is offered in a variety of formats including virtual real-time, online mentored, and online self-paced. Certification training is aligned with industry-specific best practice, Department of Defense Directive 8570 and military COOL programs for each respective branch of the armed services.
