The University of Texas at Tyler

The vision of The University of Texas at Tyler is to be the primary educational and economic driver of East Texas by producing graduates and programs that add intellectual and economic value to the region. Located on more than two hundred acres, the campus has a park-like setting with Harvey Lake at its center. UT Tyler enrolls more than 7,000 undergraduates. About 1,700 students live on campus. POINT OF DISTINCTION The Pre-Med and Pre-Law Academies groom students for successful admission to medical and law schools. The academies improve the quality of readiness for students.
