Why you should attend?

With a dedicated veteran affairs office to guide veterans as they transition from boots to books, TWU is committed to those who have served our country. We offer personalized support, dedicated study spaces in our Veteran and Military Student Center, and activities and programs created with veterans in mind. Partnerships with local veteran organizations provide additional resources for this community. Academically, TWU offers programs popular with military servicemembers and veterans, including a student nursing partnership with the Dallas VA Hospital, and Project INVEST, which offers opportunities for injured veterans to play Paralympic sports in a program coordinated by kinesiology students.
