Spokane Community College

Spokane Community College is located on the corner of Mission and Greene in Spokane, WA. We offer Associate of Arts transfer degrees, Technical Education Associate of Applied Science degrees and certificates. Our programs can be completed in 7 quarters, or less. We have rural satellite centers and offer in person, online, hybrid, and night classes. New Student Orientation (NSO) is required for all new students to our campus. We have several student resources on campus; Jenkins Wellness Center, academic and mental health counseling, tutoring, computer labs, student success and career workshops, disability services, and the Veterans One-Stop.

Why you should attend?

Spokane Community College has several resources in place and sustainable for our student veterans and family members. The Veterans One-Stop is located in the Lair Student Center building, in the Workforce Transitions Office. We have veteran priority computers with veteran specific software. The Veterans One-Stop also includes a study area, Camaraderie Corner, the VA certifying official, and VA workstudies. We have a "Veteran Friendly Contact" faculty/staff member available in every building on campus, a D.R.I.V.E. program flashdrive is issued to every new, incoming student veteran and contains veteran resources on campus and in the community, and recently launched the Veteran Connection on Canvas, our college's online learning platform. We recently renewed our TA MOU.

A program that prepares individuals to apply technical knowledge and skills to repair, service, and maintain all types of automobiles. Includes instruction in brake systems, electrical systems, engine performance, engine repair, suspension and steering, automatic and manual transmissions and drive trains, and heating and air condition systems.
