Shawnee Community College is an excellent choice for military members for several reasons. A dedicated Veterans Coordinator works with each veteran on a one-on-one basis to ensure that all paperwork is received and submitted in a timely manner. Financial Aid staff are readily available to assist with completing the FAFSA and answering any other financial aid questions. The college has a designated Veterans Resource Room, which provides students with a place to study, work on the computer, eat lunch, and visit with other veterans.
