Thomas University

Thomas University is a private, non-profit, regionally accredited university in south Georgia. TU’s beautiful campus is situated on 75 acres just north of Tallahassee, Florida. Thomas University provides a highly personalized educational experience. Our faculty and staff are committed to helping each student reach their unique potential. Our student body includes traditional students, professionals returning to college, members of the military and citizens from around the globe. Students participate in a wide variety of activities including 14 varsity and junior varsity athletic teams, including the nation’s only veteran’s and military transition football team. TU offers associate, bachelor and graduate degrees at our main campus, online and at locations across Georgia. Certification preparation and other professional development is also available through our Center for Professional Learning. The Center for Military Life supports military personnel and their families’ from pre-enlistment to veteran status and is home to the Armed Services Institute.

Thomas University is pleased to work with members of the military, military spouses, Department of Defense employees and veterans from all branches to reach their educational goals. TU is a participant in DoD voluntary education programs, a Tier 1 AU-ABC partner with the Community College of the Air Force (CCAF) and provides certification preparation in conjunction with the COOL (Credentialing Opportunities Online) as well as Defense Acquisition University (DAU) equivalent coursework in contract acquisition. TU’s Center for Military Life offers a wide range of programs and services specifically dedicated Active Duty, National Guard, Reserves and Veterans including: Veterans Career and Transition Services Center provides veterans, active duty, guard and reserve personnel with opportunities for resources and serves as a quite place to spend time with other service members. The Center is open to all military regardless of their enrollment status with Thomas University. Certification preparation training in cyber security (8570), project management and cloud computing. DAU equivalent training for contract acquisition and management, CCAF AU-ABC Tier 1 programs and GEM coursework, Student Veterans of America (SVA). TU veteran students can participate in this national association.
