KU is committed to serving military-affiliated students transitioning to higher education, persisting to graduation, and moving to the next chapter of their lives. We provide tailored assistance through a variety of programs and services. Our 3,000 square-foot Military-Affiliated Student Center is a centralized resource featuring study and lounge spaces, Student Veterans of America chapter, VA benefits service officer, and VA's VetSuccess on Campus program. Through programs at KU in Leavenworth, students can complete coursework within 10 months through accelerated programming and flexible class times to fit the schedules of military careers. Graduate Military Programs also assists servicemembers in obtaining advanced degrees.

Our school has instituted policies to address the concerns and needs of military spouses and their families. We've constructed our admissions, retention, career counseling, and mentoring programs to help alleviate the difficulties faced by military spouses. Our flexible learning options and degree continuation programs are designed to accommodate deployments and relocation.
