Why you should attend?

Northeast State has made great strides to ensure that vets feel welcome and comfortable as they transition from the military. We signed President Obama's 8 Keys to Veterans Success initiative and have met all 8 keys. Some services include: three Vet Centers spread out among campuses, dedicated student advisor, veterans-specific orientations, professional development for faculty and staff, and a one-stop-shop for veterans by our Veterans Affairs Office staff. Additionally, our Student Veterans of America (SVA) Chapter is established and doing well. We have been certified as a VETS (Veterans Education Transition Support) campus by the Tennessee Higher Education Commission.
