About Minnesota West Community and Technical College

Minnesota West is a comprehensive community college community and technical college with five southwestern Minnesota campuses: Canby, Granite Falls, Jackson, Pipestone, and Worthington with centers in Luverne and Marshall. Students have the opportunity to earn an Associates Degree, Diploma, or Certificate in over 60 disciplines. The College has 70+ years of providing specilized technical and liberal arts/transfer majors to students. Our student body encompasses all ages and ethnicities. Our faculty and staff are dedicated to serving in an affordable, accessible, and supportive setting. Small class sizes, personalized attention, and hands-on teaching and learning are strong attributes of our college.

Why you should attend?

Minnesota West Community & Technical College is approved by the Minnesota State Approving Agency for Veteran Education Benefits. We have a certifying officer on staff that works with veterans and their families. We have veteran/military centers and veteran/military clubs on campus. We also work closely with Regional Veteran Service Officers to ensure veteran and military benefits are coordinated. SW Minnesota Private Industry Council/Partner (PIC) and the local Work Force Center provide a full range of services for returning veterans including college education funding.

We've constructed our admissions, retention, career counseling, and mentoring programs to help alleviate the difficulties faced by military spouses.
