Why you should attend?

Kean University created the Kean Veterans Educational Transition Services, (V.E.T.S) Program to help assist all veterans, service members, dependents with transitioning to student life. For veterans we offer unique transition services from soldier to student that includes veterans only sections for the first semester to accumulate to Kean. The Kean V.E.T.S office takes each prospective veteran, service member and dependent through the admissions process, acceptance, advising and registration. After, the office conducts midterm warnings during the semester to ensure a successful first semester and thereafter. We also offer resume writing, career placement workshops, job fairs. The goal is just not to leave with a degree, but employment. We also offer several programs on campus such as VA VITAL, Vets Center, VSOC, and upward bound.
