Founded in 1849 and affiliated with The Holston Conference of The United Methodist Church, provides quality liberal arts instruction that promotes faith, personal responsibility, and scholarship. Why you should attend?

Hiwassee College now provides opportunities to earn and complete a degree by taking day and evening classes. Attend part-time or full-time; take classes in the summer as well as in the fall and spring semesters. Enjoy both traditional classes, online, or blended classes mixed to suit your needs. Courses are offered in various time frames: eight-week sessions in the fall and spring semesters, a three-week concentrated session in May, two five-week sessions or one 10-week session in the summer, or the traditional 16-week fall and spring semesters.

Our school has instituted policies to address the concerns and needs of military spouses and their families. We've constructed our admissions, retention, career counseling, and mentoring programs to help alleviate the difficulties faced by military spouses. Our flexible learning options and degree continuation programs are designed to accommodate deployments and relocation.
