About Central Texas College

Central Texas College (CTC) is an open admissions, public community college offering associate degrees and certificates of completion. We serve students in our 12-county service area and military students, veterans, and their family members around the world. CTC has almost 50 years of experience serving the military and their families, initiating our first on-site programs on Fort Hood, Texas in 1970, Europe in 1974, and then expanding across the globe. Course offerings include traditional classroom, hybrid/blended and online. New distance learning terms start each month with 27 degrees and 33 certificates 100% online.

With nearly 50 years helping military reach their educational goals, CTC understands their unique needs and challenges and makes it possible to finish their degree regardless of student's location. We guarantee maximum credit for military education and training. CTC residency can be earned through classroom, hybrid/blended or online courses regardless of location. Active duty military personnel and veterans can receive an instant estimate of evaluated credit online and begin their college career with our Fast Forward program.
