About Brookhaven College

Brookhaven College was founded in 1978 as the seventh and newest college in the Dallas County College Community District (DCCCD). It is a two-year public community college, strategically located in Farmers Branch, Texas and serves the surrounding communities of Carrollton, Addison, and North Dallas. It is a large institution with a growing population of 12,790 students. Brookhaven offers over 17 associates degrees, 56 certificates, and several course options through its Workforce and Continuing Education Program

Brookhaven s Veterans Services Program is currently designed to help military personnel, veterans, and their dependents transition from military to civilian life through the vehicle of higher and post-secondary education. We understand the unique responsibility of the community college as the easiest segue for veterans and value the opportunity to maximize his or her experience. Our unique services ensure student success in and outside of the classroom by remaining focused on individualized approaches to attaining ones educational goals. We've constructed our admissions, retention, career counseling, and mentoring programs to help alleviate the difficulties faced by military spouses.
