About Bossier Parish Community College

Bossier Parish Community College is a two year institution that offers an awesome Veteran Resource Center specifically designed for our military affiliated students. We serve students worldwide and currently serve the most GI Bill students in the state for two year institutions. We offer classes on campus, on line, and off campus. BPCC offers specific scholarships for our active military, spouses, and veteran students. BPCC offers programs that meet the needs of the local area in Allied Health, STEM, Business and others. We have athletics teams, student organizations, and performing arts to encourage our students to explore the full college campus experience. We offer a testing center for nationally recognized cyber certifications, CLEP, DANTES and others.

Why you should attend?

Bossier Parish Community College has held the "Military Friendly" designation for the past seven years. Our campus is a top school in Military Advanced Education and Transition, and is a designated Louisiana Governor's Military and Veteran Friendly Campus. We have a Veteran Resource Center designated specifically for our military affiliated students to assist with admissions, benefits, course selection, career advising, and transition assistance. We have flexible course offerings to include online, evening, and on campus classes. We offer out of state waivers, a military student organization, disabilities services, and military scholarships. We accept all military benefits to include GI Bill benefits, MyCAA, Tuition Assistance and various state entitlements. We are here to serve them and give them the tools they need to be successful.

Our school has instituted policies to address the concerns and needs of military spouses and their families. We've constructed our admissions, retention, career counseling, and mentoring programs to help alleviate the difficulties faced by military spouses. Our flexible learning options and degree continuation programs are designed to accommodate deployments and relocation.
