Why you should attend?

Augsburg University recognizes that veterans and military service members can have unique needs. We provide a separate student lounge so students can have a secure, private space to study, rest, eat and connect with other military students. This area is available 24/7. Our disability staff are trained to support brain injury, PTSD, anxiety and any learning or physical challenges students may face. Working with our counseling office, students are provided with free counseling; staff also work with every professor a student has in class. We have the Step Up recovery program, which serves students coming out of treatment centers. We also work with students transitioning out of prison. Our multicultural staff and campus ministry staff provide additional support to students from any background.
