Auburn University is a public, land-grant institution located in the beautiful small town of Auburn, Alabama, near the Georgia state line. More than 30,000 students attend Auburn, 40 percent of whom are from out of state. Since the University opened in 1856, more than 250,000 students have graduated with Auburn degrees, and today Auburn is a comprehensive research and doctoral institution, offering 140 undergraduate majors, an Honors College, and many graduate and professional programs. Why you should attend?

Auburn University (AU) continues to lead the way in innovation and increased support for its student veterans. Over the past year AU has established designated Purple Heart recipient parking spaces and a permanent Purple Heart Recipient Scholarship. Expanded the Veterans Success Program Scholarship from 5 to 6 recipients, implemented a Professional Clothing Locker, established the Auburn Warrior Orientation and Learning (AWOL) program to assist in veteran transition to the campus environment. AU also expanded the veteran book exchange and library for student veterans, and Ruck Sacks to Backpacks program raised funds for 7 laptops/technology now available for veterans in need.
