Founded in 1966, Massasoit Community College is one of the largest community colleges in Massachusetts. Massasoit offers more than 60 associate degree and certificate programs across arts, sciences, and applied sciences. With three locations in Brockton, Canton, and Middleborough, Massasoit serves students from all across the metro south region. More than 900 students graduate with an associate degree or certificate each year from Massasoit, and 2,600 students annually enroll in non-credit community education or workforce development courses. Massasoit offers a wide variety of support services to help students develop academic, emotional, and social skills.

Military Veterans

The mission of Massasoit's Veterans Services is to honor and support our servicemembers, both current and former, as well as their families. The College provides a comprehensive and caring college experience while helping members reach their educational, personal, and professional goals. Massasoit Community College currently serves nearly 200 active and veteran servicemembers. To best support the community, Massasoit developed a Veterans Center where students can study, socialize, and have access to computers. The College also maintains an active Veterans & Servicemembers club each academic year. The club Holiday gift drives and volunteer work at the local VA hospital. The Veteran Center Staff also establishes relationship with stakeholders to provide opportunities for our Veteran Students to find suitable employment after their education goals are complete.

Military Spouses

Veterans Services staff at Massasoit Community College is well-versed in educational benefits for military spouses and dependents, whether that be Fry scholarship, Post 9/11 GI Bill, or Chapter 35 DEA benefits. All military families are welcome to utilize the Veterans Center we have on campus. We currently serve almost 200 veterans, servicemembers & dependents. The goal for our students is to provide them the building blocks to find careers and successfully transferring to desired Bachelor programs.
