Veteran Student Stats

Military Veterans

Thanks to St. Bonaventure’s status as a Yellow Ribbon university, the Post-9/11 GI Bill offers qualified veterans full tuition, $1,200 a month for housing, and $1,000 a year for supplies. More important, St. Bonaventure won’t abandon veterans after they enroll. The university’s Office of Veterans Services features a veteran’s lounge, an academic support center, and a full-time director to serve the needs of our veteran students. We’ll guide you through application and admission to St. Bonaventure --- and complemented by our academic and social support networks, we’ll stand by your side until you earn your degree.

Military Spouses

Service members enrolled in the Post 9/11 GI Bill program may transfer education benefits to their spouse or children to allow them to attend St. Bonaventure. For those service members not enrolled in the Post 9/11 GI Bill, we also have a Military-Aligned Student Assistance Grant intended to assure that 50 percent of tuition charges for all military-aligned students are paid through grants and scholarships that don’t have to be repaid.
