Military Veterans

Through the Office of Military & Veteran Affairs (OMVA) you will receive individualized assistance and support throughout your time at the University of New Haven. Consisting of full-time staff, part time student employees, and VA & Federal Work Study students, our goal is to assist and support the student veteran population both on and off campus. The team advises, guides, and supports Student Veterans and active servicemembers (active duty, reservist, National Guard) with the Manager serving as a secondary advisor and is available to assist at a moment’s notice to address the needs and concerns of this unique population.

Military Spouses

Through the Office of Military & Veteran Affairs, Veteran Dependents also receive individualized assistance and support throughout their time at the University of New Haven. Our team advises, guides, and supports veteran dependents and spouses with the same attention and care as student veterans with the Manager serving as a secondary advisor. We can assist at a moment's notice to address the needs and concerns of this unique population. Veteran dependents and spouses have access to all the same OMVA resources as the student veterans and service member students.
