Veteran Student Stats

Military Veterans

Wor-Wic values our nation's veterans, active-duty military, reservists, and National Guard members. Wor-Wic is regionally recognized as a military friendly institution and training facility. The college welcomes and embraces all veterans, servicemembers, and their family members. Wor-Wic's student veteran and military population is very visible on campus and actively engaged in multiple student activities throughout the year. Wor-Wic is one of just 60 colleges in the nation to have a U.S. Department of Education TRIO Veterans Upward Bound (VUB) program on campus. The VUB houses a large resource center on campus where full-time staff are available to assist veterans with VA education benefits, academic advising, and a host of holistic services. The college offers a "one-stop-shop" wherein veteran, military, and military-connected students have a single point of contact for all of their needs at the school. The Director of Veterans Services assists these students with enrollment

Military Spouses

Wor-Wic respects and values the dedication and sacrifices of our military spouses and dependents. Wor-Wic understands the unique needs and challenges faced by many military families. Military spouses and dependents receive the same "one-stop-shop" services that their active-duty and veteran sponsors receive. The Director of Veterans Services is the sole point of contact for all of their educational needs and assists with enrollment and registration, navigating financial aid and scholarships, and academic advising among other services. Priority registration is provided for eligible veteran and military-connected family members. A large network of regional and state service providers assure that our military family members have a support network for needs that cannot be met by the institution. Spouses and dependents receive the same level of support afforded to our veteran and military students.
