Pennsylvania Highlands is appreciative of our military/veteran service to our country and are determined to make their academic journey as seamless as possible. Student Services at Penn Highlands provides veterans with: dedicated webpage, academic advising, evaluation of prior learning for credit (military service, basic training, prior training, etc.), evaluation of gained credits at colleges/universities, information/guidance regarding financial aid/veterans benefits, dedicated Veteran Certifying Official who also provides one-on-one assistance, pre-registration period, assistance with transcript management/registration. If called into duty, military students/families eligible to receive sponsored tuition rates when deployed to a Cambria County location.

Military Spouses

As a smaller Community College, Penn Highlands faculty, staff and administration are dedicated to providing individual services/counseling/advising and other assistance to our military students as well as to all students. In addition to the academic offerings, there are numerous clubs, organization, athletics and activities that support student growth and engagement outside of the classroom. We also provide our military students the opportunity to participate in the Student Veterans of America chapter on campus.
