COA is proud to have served the academic needs of the Albemarle region since 1961. As the first comprehensive community college in North Carolina, we continue to expand our programs and services throughout the seven-county area: Camden, Chowan, Currituck, Dare, Gates, Pasquotank and Perquimans counties. We have campuses in Dare, Edenton, Elizabeth City and Currituck. We have an accessible and supportive veteran center on campus to give Veterans the guidance to reach goals. We are well-credentialed and follow industry recommendations, especially regarding standards for Veterans. We offer a wide range of curriculum and degree levels so Veterans can weigh all options. Finally, we offer flexibility, with year-round admissions and online degree options that fit your schedule easily. Whether active duty, family member, or a veteran, we assist educational goals takes planning, and give flexible class scheduling can make all the difference to educational success.
