Northwest Missouri State University extends support to military spouses and dependents with a School Certifying Official to assist them in meeting the requirements for qualifying financial assistance and benefits, a Personal Development and Counseling Services team to help them overcome personal obstacles, and an extended family-for-life among its students, faculty, and staff. Northwest has high graduation and career placement rates and offers rigorous academic programs, small class sizes, and opportunities for student employment and profession-based learning experiences. The Student Success Center, Writing Center, Math Lab, Career Services, and faculty advisors also offer resources to helping students succeed academically.
