Military Veterans

The CUNY School of Professional Studies (CUNY SPS) understands that knowledge gained outside the classroom is extremely valuable. We offer a number of Credit for Prior Learning opportunities that make it possible for military service members to earn credit for previous education, work experience, and learning outside the classroom. Credit for noncollegiate learning, including pre-evaluated military courses and credentials, transfer credit, portfolio evaluation, and examinations, can earn students up to 105 credits toward a Bachelor's degree.

The online bachelor's and master's degree and certificate programs at CUNY SPS offer accessible, convenient, and affordable educational options. As part of the City University of New York we offer unmatched quality and value. With 2025-26 in-State tuition rate at $305 per credit for undergraduate students, and in-State graduate tuition at $470 per credit, our tuition is among the lowest in the North East.
